Freedom of the Press Worldwide in 2008
This report includes surveys of press freedom in every region of the world over the past year and has chapters on 98 countries, including European Union members and the United States. It highlights the many ways that journalist freedom and safety is being threatened in many parts of the world and faults governments for not doing more to ensure the safety and freedom of journalists.
